Pirates Expelled Commerce Restored ~ Comfort Colors Tee

Nassau Cleaned Up and Nobody Thanked Them

Picture the fort tour: one person reads the plaque while the rest hunt for the swim-up bar. Both deserve this. For the cruise passenger who booked the history walk, the Bahamas regular on a seventh trip, and anyone who suspects order and fun were always rivals.

• Real Motto, Our Punchline: Woodes Rogers arrived at Nassau in July 1718 as the Crown's governor with the King's pardon; the Latin motto Expulsis Piratis, Restituta Commercia is associated with that suppression and stayed on the Bahamas colonial arms until 1971. Fun Ruined is ours.
• Cruise Crew Pick: Matching sets for the group who argues about the excursion, then goes.
• Port Day Memory: Outlasts the duty-free rum.
