I'm Damien.

No, I don't own a pirate ship. I don't wear an eye patch, and I've never made anyone walk the plank. Though I've worked with a few people who made the idea tempting.

I've always had a soft spot for pirates. Not so much the pillaging and the questionable hygiene as the independence, the outrageous personalities, the unbelievable history, and the general refusal to behave like respectable members of society.

Some of these characters were brilliant. Some were completely unhinged. Most were probably terrible dinner guests. Naturally, I found them fascinating.

That's how Pirate Dayz came about: funny, rebellious, occasionally inappropriate designs inspired by pirates, history, freedom, adventure, and the ridiculous business of being human.

Some designs are rooted in real maritime history. Others are pure nonsense. I'll leave you to decide which ones are more believable.

Around here you'll also meet Slander the Parrot, the shop's mascot and the least discreet witness in the world. He repeats only what people wish he hadn't heard, and his motto is "I Heard That. So Did Everyone Else." Nobody hired him. He simply stayed.
