Nice Chest ~ A Compliment About Treasure, Probably

Two words. One of them is doing all the work, and the owner gets to decide which. Birthday gag with a straight face, which is the best kind.

• The Dry Double: Earns the second look across the backyard, then the slow nod from the one who finally got it.
• Birthday Bait: For the friend who collects compliments and the one who collects old sea stories, often the same person.
• Where It Belongs: Shelved in Pirates After Dark alongside the other things said with a perfectly innocent face.
