Career Change Henry Morgan ~ Comfort Colors Tee

Raided for a Living ~ Then Got the Government Job

Henry Morgan made his name as a privateer, which is a pirate with paperwork. In 1674 the crown knighted him and sent him back to Jamaica as lieutenant governor. The man who had been the problem was now the person you filed complaints with. He kept the post, on and off, until 1682.

• For the one who switched sides of the desk: A gift for the former bartender now running the bar, the ex-hacker in cybersecurity, and anyone promoted into policing the thing they used to do.
• Reference check, skipped: The job history read privateer, the new title read Sir, and somebody in London decided those matched.
• Promoted out of: Part of Pirate History & Legends, where the best career move was being too useful to hang.
