Calendar Says Monday ~ Compass Disagrees
Sunday evening, the boat is tied up, the forecast is perfect for tomorrow, and a reminder pings about an eight o'clock stand-up. Two instruments, two opinions. Only one of them has ever been right.
- For the weekend sailor: The marina regular who checks wind speed before email, and the office friend who counts down to Friday on Monday.
- Navigation note: The compass does not know what a quarter-end is and refuses to learn.
- Charted in: Modern Scoundrels, pointing out the door.
