Blackbeard Medicine Chest ~ Comfort Colors Tee

Held a City Hostage ~ Asked for the Pharmacy

In May 1718 Blackbeard parked his ships outside Charles Town, took hostages, and shut the harbor for about a week. The ransom was not gold. It was a chest of medicine. The town sent it, he handed back the hostages, and somewhere a sick crew finally got its prescription filled.

• For the one who runs the medicine cabinet: Buy it for the pharmacist who has heard every excuse, the nurse working a double, and the friend who travels with a pill organizer that has its own zip code.
• Demands, reasonable: A fleet, a blockade, a whole city on edge, and the request was basically a well stocked first aid kit.
• Prescribed by: Part of Pirate History & Legends, where even the most feared man on the coast needed a refill.
